Team Entry

The challenge is open to teams of upto six people from any area of the public sector. Participants will spend the day as the management team of a fictional local authority, encountering many of the tasks that a real corporate team deals with. Whilst this is primarily a development opportunity teams will be competing to be crowned ‘Best team’, in the region.

Team Entry – per team of 6:  £1,700 + VAT

Bespoke Support for your teams:

We understand that each team will have different reasons for participating, different objectives and desired outcomes, therefore may require different support packages. WME will work with you to support your teams, pre and post challenge, through either bespoke packages or one off workshops tailored to your specific needs.

This may include;

Enhanced Package (Early Bird ends 30th June 2019) – £2,725
Enhanced Package – £3,000

Everything in the standard package plus:
Teams purchasing an enhanced package will benefit from 3 half day sessions designed to really help participants to maximise their learning and; most importantly consider how they will embed it back in the workplace (which is where the magic happens)!

All team members will receive a GC Index report as part of the enhanced package – in order to administer this we will need to liaise with team members directly in advance so it is important that we receive your team details no later than 16th August. In order to maximise the value of the enhanced package please note that all team members will be required to attend a 3 hour session during September and two follow up sessions (approx 4 & 8 weeks) after the challenge, please contact us to secure suitable dates

All sessions will be delivered by experienced facilitators who will spend some time observing the teams during the challenge.

  When? What? Where?
Session 1 Approx 2 weeks prior to the challenge Team members will receive an introduction to the challenge and undertake a variety of activities to help them to prepare for the challenge, agree individual development goals and plans.  All sessions are delivered at your premises! Dates and times will be agreed to match team and facilitator availability
Session 2 Approx 2 weeks after the challenge Team members will reflect on their performance, discussing strengths and areas for further development. They will also revisit their goals and agree action plans to embed the learning.
Session 3 Approx 6 weeks after the challenge A chance for individuals to reflect on what has changed since the challenge and assess how effectively they have embedded new skills or behaviours. An activity will be undertaken to assess the learning and new goals will be identified

If you are booking an enhanced package it is important to note that we will need team details by the deadline of Friday 16th August 2019. In order to get the best out of the teamwork and personal developmental opportunity it is important that all six team members are able to attend all pre & post sessions. As soon as we receive your team details one of our Associates will be in touch to agree these dates.
